Arenal apartment

"We are a family of of six, two adults, four children, ages 15, twins 13 and 5 years. I found this lovely apartment on Daft Holiday Rentals and decided to send an email and find out more about it. I am delighted I did as it turned out to be one of the most relaxing and hassle free holidays - hassle free because it was so easy to book and pay for, all it took was a quick trip to the bank. I received the details for the account in Spain from the owner and once the money arrived into her account she notified me - this usually takes about 2 days. I also was given details of a property manager in Arenal Golf Apartments, this was a nice touch as we were met on arrival and given a tour of the apartment. He also provides welcoming baskets with all essential items if you wish. The Apartment was perfect. It was spotless, lovely furniture, very spacious even for us being a family of 6 and every mod con you could need and I do mean every mod con - it actually even had 2 hair dryers which came in very handy considering there are 3 girls in total in our family. Very secure gated entrance to the apartments. The relaxing part of my holiday was how private the apartment was . .large double balcony that wasnt overlooked, a lot of effort goes into keeping the whole place nice . . .lifeguards by both pools till eight every evening - which were very well maintained at all times. The complex itself is overlooked by beautiful mountains which you can take a cable car to the top where there is a bird sanctuary. We had planned to hire a car but in the end we didnt because once you walk out of the complex which only takes a few minutes you could get buses or taxi - we mainly got taxis as the were quite cheap - 5 euro to the town of Benalmadena - nice lively spot which kept the teenagers happy, plenty of shops and supermarkets, bars and then we got the bus a lot to the Pueblo which is the original village of Benalmadena. This was my favourite, old style village, some really nice places to eat and some beautiful heritage sites. This really is a great place to stay for anyone - families, couples, older people, young people, because everything you need is literally on your doorstep and yet such a nice quiet friendly place to stay.
